Event Details

Experience inspiring keynotes, learning, leadership development, and networking with student activists and campus organizers at our 10th Anniversary Summit.

Date: Saturday, April 13
Time: 8 AM–5 PM ET
Location: Temple University, Philadelphia, PA

Get ready for a day filled with immersive breakout sessions, electrifying speakers, and networking opportunities. From 2014 to now, we’ll celebrate all that It’s On Us has accomplished together and lay out our plans for the future. Students will get an exclusive preview of our core training, designed to equip you with all the tools you need to organize on your campus. Plus, don’t miss the opportunity to connect with our national It’s On Us team and your fellow student leaders!

We love that faculty advisors are eager to be part of the action! However, our Summit is intended for students. It is not a professional development opportunity for faculty advisors or other college or university staff. Faculty advisors are welcome, but please know all educational programming is intended to build the knowledge and skills of our It’s On Us student organizers.

Your enthusiasm! We’ve got lunch and refreshments covered. Don’t forget to pack a pen and paper to jot down all your awesome insights & ideas.

Not at all! We’re dedicated to ensuring our national events are accessible for our student organizers. All we ask is that you register and give us the heads-up that you are coming.

Yes, registering is your ticket to all the excitement. It’s super easy – just sign up here before the closing bell on Friday, April 5 at 11:59 PM ET.

The registration window will close on Friday, April 5 at 11:59 PM ET.

Get ready for a jam-packed day! Things will kick off with registration starting at 8:00 AM ET, followed by our first speaker at 9:00 AM ET. We’ll take a lunch break at 12:30 PM to refuel, and the Summit will wrap up at 5:00 PM.

No, but our team is happy to work with you to verify attendance at any of our breakout training sessions. For more information, please contact our Associate Director of Campus Organizing, Blake Kitterman, at blake.kitterman@civicnation.org.

Lunch and refreshments are on us. Just let us know about dietary restrictions in your registration form — we want to ensure everyone’s well-fed and happy.

We’re here to make sure all students feel comfortable and included. Just let us know about any specific accommodations you need when you register so we can ensure everything’s ready for you.

The show starts at 9 AM ET, but we’re opening the doors for check-in at 8 AM. Arriving early will give you time to grab your badge (and coffee), mingle, and get in the Summit spirit before the excitement kicks off!

While It’s On Us cannot cover housing expenses for students attending the Summit, we are willing to assist in identifying accommodations in Philadelphia. Please contact Blake Kitterman, Director of Campus Organizing & Training, at blake.kitterman@civicnation.org for lodging support.
