It’s On Us is home to a vibrant community of student organizers committed to fostering safe campuses. Our group of student leaders has achieved tangible results, varying from successfully lobbying their university administrators for stronger Title IX policies to distributing hundreds of thousands of dollars of Uber credits to their peers as part of safe ride programs. Whether they’re organizing rallies, tabling during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, or engaging with university administrators, our chapters are unified by the belief that It’s On Us to create an empowered and educated student community.
Peer Empowerment
The foundation of our Campus Organizing Program is rooted in the well-established method of peer prevention education. Our team provides ongoing prevention & organizing training opportunities to instill a level of confidence as our Campus Organizers cultivate change on their college campuses.
Leadership
Embarking on your It’s On Us chapter journey opens the door to leadership opportunities and professional development. Through roles in our Caucus Chair & Regional Advisor Program and hosting sessions at our Regional Summits, students cultivate leadership skills and gain valuable experience that stays with them throughout their post-graduate lives. It’s On Us students have gone on to present at national academic conferences, be named finalists for the prestigious Truman Scholarship, and work in The White House.
