This program is part of a larger suite of programs designed to educate students on intimate partner and dating violence. This suite of programs was developed with the support of YSL Beaute as part of their global “Abuse Is Not Love” Campaign.
Students who complete this program will be able to:
- Understand the prevalence and impact intimate partner violence has on individuals and communities.
- Define intimate partner violence.
- Articulate the differences between healthy, unhealthy, and abusive relationship behaviors.
- Identify the 9 signs of an abusive relationship.
- Be aware of the federal laws that offer protections for students who have experienced intimate partner violence. Be prepared to serve as peer-educators on this program within their campus communities.
